Based in Japan, Winning Eleven Productions has instituted a host of anticipated changes that make PES 2010 the best yet.

In PES 2010 you’ll find yourself on the largest stage in digital soccer: The Champions League. Imagine you’re in a 1-1 tie in stoppage time against Manchester United. You’ve broken their defense and are sprinting full throttle into a man to man match of wits and reflexes with Edwin van der Sar… Do you have what it takes to punch it in for the win?

Product Features

Introducing Transcendent Visuals – PES will offer drastic improvements in license content, stadium atmospheres, player likenesses all the way down to the specific moves of the real life players. When you play as Messi, it will be like Messi is playing.
Evolution of Intelligence – PES will draw upon the real life excitement of soccer which relies heavily on intelligent defenses and offensive schemes. The AI is redone and will feature Teamvision 2.0 for a more formidable opponent. It will also help your offense to build attacks or to close down your opponents attacks. Gamers will be able to execute orchestrated attacks and defenses which involve multiple players at the same time.
The Power of Choice – In addition to the UEFA Champions League mode, players will have more choices than ever. They can choose any of the modes including an enhanced Master League mode enabling players to create and manage their team for a longer period of time. In addition there will be multiple cups to play for and an edit mode to further personify your team.
Online Reinvented – A new dedicated section of the PES production team is committed to improving the online side of PES 2010. More downloadable content is also planned. Konami has supported PES 2009 with the release of new licensed teams, transfer updates, etc, and this support will grow for PES 2010. Team and content updates are planned throughout the game’s lifespan. These will make the game even more bespoke to the player’s match day needs.

How to install:

Install Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, a “clean installation“ is recommended.
Patch the game to version 1.20 .
Download the update either in the game by going to „System Settings“ → „Download“ or direct using this link . (It is important that you make these 2 steps! Otherwise you won’t have game version 1.20!)
Start the setup „E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. PATCH 2009.exe“ and follow the instructions (if necessary choose as installation path „C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009“).
Install the kitserver.
Copy the optionfile to:
Windows XP: „C:\Documents and Settings\”User”\My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\save”.
Windows Vista: „C:\Users\“User“\Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\save“.
If on the game start displays: „Use downloaded content?“, choose „No“, go to „Edit“, choose „Load“ → „Yes“ and „Save“ → „Yes“ .
Ready.

How to play Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 on VPN conncection – PES Magazine

Step 1
1) Download and install Hamachi
2) Download and install all PES 2009 patches 1.10, 1.20 and 1.30.
3) Download PesMagazine 2009
4) Extract PesMagazine to your Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 folder
5) Run Pesmagazine Launcher 2009.exe
PES MAGAZINE

Step 2
1) Click on the Wizard
2) Click on Install Certificate
3) Wait for the Succesfuly Installed message

Step 3
Setting the ports:
1) Click on the Wizard
2) Click on Fix settings.exe
3) Choose Online tab
4) Check that Auto and Enable UPnP are not checked

Step 4
Playing as host:
1) Enter your Hamachi’s IP on Select your IP
2) Check the Server checkbox
3) Click on the Launch PES 2009 icon to run the game
4) In the game select Network and choose Yes
5) On the next screen enter Game ID and Game password which you can get at Konami’s website
6) Enter the Lobby and select Create a Match Room and then click on Ready
7) Wait for your buddy to join

Download Video Guide

Playing as client:
1) Enter your Hamachi’s IP on Select your IP
2) Check the Client checkbox
3) Enter your buddy’s IP at the Server IP
4) Click on the Launch PES 2009 icon to run the game

Install

Kitserver Installation

1.Download Kitserver for PES2009 and extract the Folder “kitserver” to the PES2009 Installdirection start the setup.exe.
2.Copy the files from chantpack to “X:\Program(s)/(me)\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\kitserver\img\cs0d.img“

Or Import in cs0d.img with AFS-Explorer

1. Unpack chantpack into a folder of your choice
2. Start AFS Explorer and go to menu FILE – IMPORT AFS File
3. In the dialog window go to last combo box and select ALL FILES
4. From your PES_2009 img folder open cs0d.img (backup it first)
5. Answer NO to questions and the file will be opened.
6. Go to Action > Import Folder and choose the folder with the unpacked files.
7. Answer Yes to questions and the file will be opened.
8. In the dialog window go to last combo box and select ALL FILES
9. Now save the “cs0d” as “1cs0d.img”
10. Wait for end of rebulding and answer Yes to the next questions
and the file will reloaded
11. Close AFS Explorer
12. Remove your old “cs0d.img” and rename the new “1cs0d.img” in “cs0d.img”
13. play have a nice day.png

Unfortunately the game doesn’t use the single slots in the Master League.
Instead of that PES uses the Generic Club Sounds.
(THX Konami for this gibberish)
But if you also want to hear the sounds of your teams in the ML then you have this opportunity:

(Please read the instructions carefully!)
Open your cs0d.img with AFS-Explorer, search with the help of my chant list for your club team (clubs that aren’t written in the list haven’t own slots, so you have to use”GENERIC CLUB…” slot).
Now you go to your team slot, for example Catania, and export (in our example) the files of slot “319-323″ to your hard disk.
Than rename this 5 files in “unnamed_694.adx …-698 (little fan slot) now import the files in your cs0d.img, the instructions for import, can you read in the install of my patch.

How to use Kitserver

Installing KitServer

Unzip the files to you Pro Evolution Soccer folder.

Browse to the KitServer folder and run the file setup.exe.

Make sure that the Game executable is pes2009.exe and the Settings executable is settings.exe.

Click Install.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 – Demo Impressions and Download

Truth is, that I wasn’t expecting PES 2009 too much as every year I’ve seen the same annoying bugs like the Wing-Backs drifting to the middle, lack of responsiveness of the players and more.

Konami, once again promised a better AI, better graphics, better control and other then this usual staff, they have promised the “Become a Legend” mode.

Setting up the demo

Of course, when the demo came out, I had to try it because I was still hoping for a better game. After downloading the 1GB demo and installing it, I’ve entered the settings screen of PES. There, for my surprise there was no 1280×1024 resolution. Once again Konami are doing a bad job on the technical side. Why should I with my system specs (E6600+8800GTS+2GB+17″), should be playing the game under 1024×768 resolution? beats me.

Aha, soon there was a demo tweak patch which enables more resoltions. This demo tweak patch also lets us change the match time.

Running the demo

From the few menus that are shown in the demo I can say that their looks and the background songs are are realy nice. At last Konami started taking care of their ugly and boring menus. So, +1 here.

There is only one available option in the menu, Exhibition, of course. Getting into the Exhibition menu, Konami dropped us four club teams which are Man Utd., Liverpool, Barcelona and R.Madrid, and two national teams, Italy and France. Not a bad selection for the demo.

I took Barcelona and let the computer control R.Madrid, nothing is better then a Super-Classico to check out PES 2009. Next is the control selection and then the formation screen. Nothing new here, though.

Getting in the Stadium

The match started with a lttile stadium show-off and then I found myself at center of the pitch, with a close-up on Henry and Eto. Here I’ve noticed at the graphics improvments. Player faces are remarkebly similar to ther real counterparts. Once more, Konami improved the graphics nicely, but not enough for my opionion. Don’t get me wrong, PES 2009 is good, but something is still missing out there.

Kick-off

Whistle is blown and on we go, passes feels good. The ball most of the time goes to where I wanted it to go. Players are moving and creating some pass options just like Konami claimed the would :O. The feeling of the game is realy fluid. More animations have been added to the game, unfortuney, running player animations which is in my opinion is very robotic, haven’t changed .

Crowed is chanting and the match goes on.

Players are truely more responsive to the controls. Movement changes are carried out easier then before.

The Wing-Backs bug which annoyed me from PES 4, resolved at last! This glich was the Achilles’ heel in online games and was exploited time after time by human players.

Goals are struck on both sides of the pitch. Computer plays really nice, not like human, though, but nice moves.

Here I’ve seen that the goal nets are changed, seeing the ball goes into the nets is very satisfactory, as the ball rolls in the net and as the net is stretched.

Long passes are now much better in sensitivity and accuracy terms. In previous versions of PES, long passes on the opposiotion side of the pitch was way too strong and never in the direction of movement of the player. Now it is a lot better.

Summery

In general, PES 2009 just feels more right then every other game on this series (And lets not remind this cell-phone game called FIFA ). There is more staff that feels different in this demo then PES 2008, but I realy can’t point that out.

I think that this time PES 2009 is a lot better the its predecessors. It is not perfect and lacks bugs, but it’s closer to be perfect then every other footy game out there.

Hopefully, Konami fixed their bad on-line code and let us enjoy what’s going to be a really great game against other players.

Call of Duty 4 – Patch 1.7 for PC is out!

This excellent game just getting better with this new 1.6 patch, including 4 new maps. Download and enjoy, just don’t forget to eat and shower from time to time.

Patch 1.6 features:

- Fix for a Denial of Service attack.
- Includes all the changes up to patch 1.5
