Divided – Split big AVI files into two
If you are after quality releases like ProDji, WHiiZz, D-Z0n3 and Devise, but unable to play them on your DVD player from your USB drive, you are in the right place.
Problem is that many of these releases are over 2GByte of size, and most if not all common DVD players just can’t handle these big files when trying to play them from a USB drive. One solution is to burn them on a DVD, which is a waste of time, money, DVDs and really unfriendly to the environment. Another simple solution is to break them into two parts. Till now you had to use one application to split the video files and another one to split the subtitles, and doing all this manually.
For that, I wrote a small application that is doing just that for you automatically. That’s right, in two clicks you can split those video files AND their subtitles into two parts.
- Process is fully automatic
- Split movies at ease from the context menu in two clicks
- Split movie’s subtitles accordingly
- No quality loss as there is no conversion
- Clean interface and informative
- Can be minimized to tray during the process and still keeps you updated in its progress
- No installation is required, Divided just adds itself to the context menu
- No Spyware or Adware, the Autohotkey script which can be compiled by anyone is included.
Any comments and suggestions are welcomed.
