How to play Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 on VPN conncection – PES Magazine
Step 1
1) Download and install Hamachi
2) Download and install all PES 2009 patches 1.10, 1.20 and 1.30.
3) Download PesMagazine 2009
4) Extract PesMagazine to your Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 folder
5) Run Pesmagazine Launcher 2009.exe
Step 2
1) Click on the Wizard
2) Click on Install Certificate
3) Wait for the Succesfuly Installed message
Step 3
Setting the ports:
1) Click on the Wizard
2) Click on Fix settings.exe
3) Choose Online tab
4) Check that Auto and Enable UPnP are not checked
Step 4
Playing as host:
1) Enter your Hamachi’s IP on Select your IP
2) Check the Server checkbox
3) Click on the Launch PES 2009 icon to run the game
4) In the game select Network and choose Yes
5) On the next screen enter Game ID and Game password which you can get at Konami’s website
6) Enter the Lobby and select Create a Match Room and then click on Ready
7) Wait for your buddy to join
Playing as client:
1) Enter your Hamachi’s IP on Select your IP
2) Check the Client checkbox
3) Enter your buddy’s IP at the Server IP
4) Click on the Launch PES 2009 icon to run the game
4) In the game select Network and choose Yes
5) On the next screen enter Game ID and Game password which you can get at Konami’s website
6) Enter the Lobby and select Search for a Match Room and choose your buddy’s room

I followed everything, but im tring to play as a host, do I have to register right?
Because I cant log in, I dont have an account of course.
But when I click on register at PES, it takes me to the koniami website where I just cant register
It says this:

just pick some, u dont have to register …
KONAMI ID must be 8-32 characters in length using lower case letters

Konami’s registration is true a pain.
I’m not sure what you both did wrong. But, you should really follow their instructions carefully.
The GAME ID password should be include only NUMBERS.
For me too, it took few a tries before I’ve managed to register.

When im trying to log in it says: An error has accured during vertification
At the konami register page you have
Konami ID
Game ID
What is the difference?
Where do I put the serial, and where do I put my login nickname ?

help !!! i have vista and when i try to launch the game via the pes magazine exe i get this error:

In order to fix the STUNNEL ERROR you should check what application or service is using the same ports as stunnel. I checked for mine at it was the 8080 port witch is needded for http connection. so u sould type in a command prompt netstat -a and check for the ports that stunnel is using and disable the service or program. hope it helps( it took me like 2-3 hours to find out).

i managed to get pass the stunnel problem by simply closing down hamachi and playing with my normal ip.
it still has some problems but in the game menu but with a little perseverance u can play with ur friends

hi..i made all the thing writen from you. but i have a problem with the patch 1.3..i have a downloaded(crk) game of pro9 and when i install patch-es a can’t open the game (insert the cd game) i re-used the old crack but i cannot play..it sai me that i need to isntall again patch 1.3…what can i do? thanx

Guys i have a problem..when i register in konami, then it tells me to go to my e-mail..to activate my account so i can get the Game ID and the Password ID..BUT it tells me that i need to pay to activate..My question is can i by-pass the paying???

you dont have to get an id from konami web site
install the certificat (in the wizard button )
and just use a random id and password

yes of course but you have to download pesmagazine . also i think it’s better to play with the 1.4 patch version because all player play with it . you should have the save version so you can play.

Hi, I can’t install the certificate in the right place… I click “install certificate” and get success in the installation but the Windows Vista copies the certificate to the “intermediate certificate authorities”, I think it should be installed in the “Certificate Authorities trusted root.” I tried to install manually but Windows the copy the certificate to another folder again. What should I do?

I have PES 2009 cracked and i apply the latest patch 1.40. First you install the game and then you install the patch and last the cracked exe file for not having problems installing the patch. Cracked exe files for all the games you can find at http://www.gamecopyworld.com and from there you can select the mirror and the game and the cracked file for the correct patch.
Also i’ve checked the hosts file located in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and by right click on it i remove the read only option (spybot is locking this file and the pesmagazine launcher is not working correctly. Also i open the port 5379 in my router and windows firewall in order to access the internet.
Even though i did all the steps i can’t make it work all the times. Sometimes it’s working and sometimes i get the error occured message, even though i don’t change anything in my settings. I even try to check if any application is using the ports 80 and 8080 that pesmagazine 2009 is using by typing in command prompt the netstat -a. None of my programs is using these ports. i believe the creator of this application should use a different port than 80 or 8080 which are very generic for http and ftp server.
So sometimes it’s working and sometimes i get the error occured when i select the network option from the game menu or i get the error occured verification message when i try to login.
Does anyone have any idea how we can make stable this application and work for all the systems? Which are the ports that we need to open to our routers?

Forgot to mention that in order to install the certificate we need to do it manually because the automatic fix is not putting it in the correct path as trusted.

Last time I tried it, it was with 1.20 patch.
I think that the best way to eliminate problems is to update up to version 1.20, test it, and then move on the next patch.

good news: i managed to solve the “stunnel server is down” error. i downloaded stunnel from http://www.stunnel.org/download/binaries.html
and downloaded stunnel 1.46,. Install stunnel to where ur pes is installed /pes 2009/stunnel. and you ar done , no more problem from stunnel.
Bad news: patched to 1.4 and in network “an erroor has ocurred”

i start pes2009.exe normal the game start playng but when i sellect NETWORK tryng to TEST NETWORK ENVIROMENT and then suddenly corrupt game with a reason ERROR SIGNATURE.

probably the msvcrt.dll has some changes i dont know what xapent but before the error tha network connected normaly with PesMagazine 2009. If someone has the same problem and has solve it please give me an answer.
